Thanks to the continued support of our donors and Refugee Community Kitchen over the winter period and moving forward, our food packs have become a valuable aspect of the daily services we provide. They are intended particularly for those who miss the food distributions or have specific dietary requirements, but are also available for anyone living outside.
As of this week we are introducing a new POS system (point of sale) recommended to us by Refugee Support Europe. This system keeps track of our current stock and allows the individual to view what is available, then select the specific items they require. This not only keeps the packs culturally appropriate, but also minimises the waste of unwanted items.
