Since the loss of both camps in North France, The Refugee Community Kitchen (RCK) have taken on the huge responsibility to keep hundreds of displaced people fed. They continue to do the impossible day-by-day, producing thousands of delicious and nutritious hot meals.
RCK already provide lunch & dinner in Calais and dinner in Dunkirk everyday. Following a few recent disruptions in the planning at Dunkirk, they are now also helping to provide lunch for the communities living there.
We are proud to say that over the past month we have been collaborating with them every Wednesday lunch-time, serving their soup and bread along with hot tea at two locations in the Dunkirk area. Not only is this a job of utmost importance, it also offers a welcome break to our usual routine and a guaranteed bowl of their delicious soup!
