Just a few weeks ago, Mobile Refugee Support was proud to be invited to a meeting at UK Parliament to discuss the situation in north France, one year on from the demolition of the Calais 'Jungle'. In this meeting, we were invited to speak about the situation in Dunkirk, where we are predominantly based.
Following this, a letter was composed and then last week, given to Amber Rudd MP outlining the urgent action that needs to be taken. The letter gathered the support of 150 MPs, Peers, NGOs and public figures, of which MRS is proud to be one of the signatories. It was delivered personally by our friend Baroness Shas Sheehan, Lord Alf Dubs, Elizabeth Butler-Sloss and Help Refugees.
