SMALL TENTS ARE URGENTLY NEEDED.
With clearances still occurring at least monthly in Dunkirk, we have been steadily giving out tents daily to those still forced to sleep outside. This weeks clearance has left our stocks nearly empty.
Adapted tents and shelters like the one pictured are often home to up to 20 people. Tents this size are impossible to pack away quickly though and when the police arrive early, it is with little or no warning. If people are asleep they are quickly turfed out and left powerless while their shelters are destroyed in-front of them.
In the current circumstances, smaller tents are far more discreet and suitable, and if people are alert, can be packed away at a moments notice. We need 1-4 man tents, preferably in decent condition, minor damage can be repaired though. If you are able to donate and would like to help, please do get in contact.
