Night patrols usually consist of delivering basic aid to small isolated groups. The past few nights however, including tonight, have been busier than ever before.
In places where we would usually find around 30 people, we instead found groups of over 100 people, most of which had not eaten for up to 24 hours.
Until the government-fronted food distributions become more dignified and in turn more successful, we can expect night patrols to be this busy for the foreseeable future.
We need your support now more than ever to sustain the work we do.
