Due to the current streak of hot weather, we have been conducting daily distributions of water. This is, of course, a responsibility that should fall on the shoulders of the French government. However, following the removal of the water facilities back in November, people living rough in the area have been reliant on provisions of water from small organisations.
With summer now around the corner, we anticipate that without the availability of fresh water as last year, this will prove to be a large strain on all organisations currently working on the ground.
