It is a busy Saturday on-site in Dunkirk with welcome support from Care4Calais and Gent4Humanity refugee support. The atmosphere is relaxed and pleasant, with refreshments and donations being gratefully received.
We would like to take this opportunity to formally introduce one of our longest serving volunteers. Over the past year, Fowzy has brought smiles to the faces of hundreds of people, becoming renowned and adored amongst the Kurdish community in Dunkirk.
Animal therapy can be an effective and powerful form of treatment, and we see day-in day-out the happiness he brings out in so many.
