It has been an incredible experience collaborating with the Skullfades Foundation crew. After two days on-site in Dunkirk, we then spent a day at the centre with the kids, working alongside the Dunkirk / Dunkerque Refugee Women's Centre. Following this we spent the last day working in Calais with the Eritrean community.
Over these last four days, they have served over 150 people and set up four experienced barbers with their own professional equipment. They also bought and distributed hundreds of litres of water and pieces of fruit, along with armfuls of brand new teddy bears and toys.
We would like to sincerely thank Ged Brian King and the whole team from the Skullfades Barber Shop for this incredible effort. It truly has been a special few days and we already anticipate their return.
