It has been a busy week for our teams on the ground with the rapidly growing population. Our inspiring volunteers have been on-site each day, providing both vital services and distributions of essential items.
Fortunately today our team have had a moment to recuperate and prepare for the week ahead. We would like to take this opportunity to recognise some of the incredible efforts and generosity of our donors.
Last week in North Herts people of all ages and dogs of all sizes embarked on a charity dog walk, raising money for MRS. We would like to express our gratitude to all who participated, and took to the hills in support of the refugees and displaced people living in northern France. Thank you to Audrey Fernandes Fewell and Christy John White for their efforts organising this great event.
We were happy to see old friends Stefan and Shelley Braddock-Overbury, who arrived laden with desperately needed tents and essential items. Thank you also to those at Derbyshire Refugee Solidarity and Friends of Refugees Suffolk who also contributed towards this van load!
The work we do is sustained entirely by donations, and the aid that we provide is dependant on people and projects like these. We cannot thank you all enough for your support, whether the donation small or large, it all truly makes a difference.
