Gallery Auction Fundraiser
With the current circumstances taking their toll, we would like to take the time to thank various key individuals who have continued to go above and beyond in providing us with much-needed support, and in turn, allowing us to improve the support we provide.
Firstly, we would like to direct our gratitude to Joy Elliott Prints/Photo/Design and Garry Dearden who put together an amazing art exhibition and auction in order to raise funds for MRS. On the 14th of March, Tremenheere Sculpture Gardens hosted the artworks of 30+ south-west based artists which were then held to auction, raising an extremely generous amount of funds that we were very grateful to receive. Not only this, however, but the exhibition also worked very well to help raise awareness of the current situation to all of those in attendance. We’d also like to extend our thanks to Glyn Winchester who helped to collaborate with this event.
Secondly, we would like to dedicate a huge amount of thanks to the wonderful Onjali Rauf and O's Refugee Aid Team who have given so much attention, care and aid throughout this ongoing period. We’d like to thank them not only for their incredible contributions but also the constant lengths this amazing team goes to in order to raise awareness of this situation and support other vital teams here on-the-ground.
Equally, we’d like to extend our appreciation to our ever-so reliable network, consisting of Donate4Refugees, People Not Borders, Herts For Refugees and Side by Side : Humanitarian Aid to Refugees. With their consistent and unfaltering support over the past few years, we have been able to continue our operations as efficiently and effectively as possible.
Finally, to all of the individuals who have fundraised and supported individual projects and the organisation as a whole, we’d like to express our most sincere thanks.
