Despite the constantly changing laws and travel restrictions, we were delighted over the last few weeks to have been joined by some of our longest and most vital partners.
Three weeks ago the incredible Amber Bauer from ForRefugees came over and spent a day with our team on-site and in the warehouse. ForRefugees have supported our work for the last three years. Over this period they have funded unique projects and the purchasing of vehicles, as well as many general running costs.
Just over a week ago, we were joined by the wonderful Onjali Rauf from O's Refugee Aid Team. Onjali has supported us for over three years with huge amounts of fundraising and gathering of donations. One year ago we then partnered with O's Refugee Aid Team to acquire the beautiful warehouse space we now operate from. Onjali was also joined by the delightful Ros and Cathy.
Two weeks ago we were joined by Caroline Gregory and Freeman Libby from the amazing Calais Action. Calais Action have supported the cause in north France for over 5 years and continue to fundraise for groups based here. We would like to thank them for their support in these particularly difficult times.
We would like to extend our thanks to all the groups and individuals who have donated to our latest fundraiser and supported our work over this winter. School Bus Project, Penrith and Eden Refugee Network, Patrice Delchambre, Eva Waes. As well as, everyone else who has donated. Whether big or small, every bit makes a difference.
